2nd Hand Revival takes old vintage religious statues that have had prior age use & discolor or damage and turns each piece into a unique piece of art !
Our pieces are not perfect and we don't want them to be perfect. We are 2nd Hand Revival as we bring back to life these beautiful old statues.
This little piece came to us with worn color and nics and scrapes to the surface. We were happy to bring this one back to life !!
We decided to do Mary in Reds and Pearls and we added our personal touch of iconic embellishments.
Statue is vintage solid chalkware/plaster and marked on back US
Sits under a glass dome and wood base which is 11" tall and base is about 7" wide

Artistic Style in colors
White and White Pearl on Dress with Gold Accent paint. Rhinestones down front of the skirt. Red Lace and Faux Pearl Trim with small red silk flower and a goldtone oval Madonna medal in the other hand. . White Pearl Rosary Beads wth Brass tone Metal Crucifix from Italy. The Rosary has been wrapped 3 times around the statue. Sometimes w glue these in place but felt this Rosary was better just wrapped with the cross below the base and you can set the cross once in your home

Note: The Face, Hands and Feet have been softened with a mottled paint style .
