2nd Hand Revival takes old vintage religious statues that have had prior age use & discolor or damage and turns each piece into a unique piece of art !
Our pieces are not perfect and we don't want them to be perfect. We are 2nd Hand Revival as we bring back to life these beautiful old statues.
This little piece came to us with worn color and nics and scrapes to the surface. We were happy to bring this piece back to life !!
We decided to do Mary in Blues and we added our personal touch of iconic embellishments.
Statue is vintage solid chalkware/plaster and marked on Italy on the Bottom

Artistic Style in colors
Blues and White Coloring on the Dress with Gold Accent paint. Semi Gloss Glaze finish
We painted the face with simple features .
Metallic Tinsel around the face with a vintage gold rope trim as well. A Medallion of Virgin Mary at front. Burgundy color Cuffs and Satin Flower .
Back has a pearl trim with white flowers and a faux pearl color cross .
Crown is a Brassy Metal Filigree cutout and stones

Note: The Face, Hands and Feet have been softened with a mottled paint style .
