Vintage Chalkware Plaster Regligious Statues brought back to life in our Art Studio .
These vintage chalkware statues come to our studio in pieces or cracked, missing hands and broken necks.. Sometimes just paint worn down or no paint at all .. we want the to be appreciated for what they are and get them into good homes .
Our goal is to give them a 2nd Life.. Thus the name 2nd Hand Revival.
This Statue of Saint Theresa has lots of chips and worn paint .. face was missing all the paint .
We painted back to traditional colors and added a very glossy finish ..
Trims in vintageWhite Daisies in white with pink centers ... Lots of Fabric Flowers which have been varnished and are stiff in place and religious icons as you see in the photos . A Pink enamel and silver metal crucifix hangs off of a small pink part of a rosary around her neck and is removable as it is not fixed to the figure .
A Gold tone metal Oval of Virgin Mary and below is a pink bead and a raised crucifix
You will see that our statues are not perfect and we don't try to make them perfect. Our paint style is sometimes textured and has variations of colors .
