Vintage Chalkware Plaster Regligious Statues brought back to life in our Art Studio .
These vintage chalkware statues come to our studio in pieces or cracked, missing hands and broken necks.. Sometimes just paint worn down or no paint at all .. we want the to be appreciated for what they are and get them into good homes .
Our goal is to give them a 2nd Life.. Thus the name 2nd Hand Revival.
This Statue of Saint Theresa has lots of chips and worn paint .. one eye was missing all the paint .
We painted back to traditional colors and added a very glossy finish ..
Trims of Gold Metallic Tinsel and Gold Fabric Rope Trim
Strips of Pink Velvet on the dressing .
Some small fabric rossettes and a small black enamel over metal medal attached .

Red Oval Plastic Bead and Goldtone Rosary from Italy
We did glue the embossed metal crucifix to the statue and wrapped the rosary twice around the neck. You can rearrange but at this time the crucifix is glued in place . Madonna and child oval on the Rosary
Note the small faux pearl cross on the brown dress area.
Small Cross with print of St. Theresa with an off white rosette flower at top of that cross.
At back an antique embossed metal homage plaque to St. Theresa " the Little Flower of Jesus"
Some more rosettes and a red faceted heart at bottom

You will see that our statues are not perfect and we don't try to make them perfect. Our paint style is sometimes textured and has variations of colors .
