One of a Kind - Handmade and Unique
2nd Hand Revival takes old vintage religious statues that have had prior damage and turns each piece into a unique piece of art !
This piece was an antique Tourist Figurine - On base you can see words: Wildwood 1947 - Wildwood is a NJ Shore town .
Material :I am unsure of what the base it made of .. but it has been repainted in soft blues, greens, pinks and tans in a distressed style. You will see some cracks in the base but statue is solid .
Mother Cabrini is a gloss patina with a black ribbon diaganolly on her with a silver crucifix .
Small Glass Votive Candle in front of her .. It would be hard to replace if you use the candle. At front is a small seashell you can add some holy water or some small trinkets .
Rosary are vintage from Italy and are a black plastic bead .
Seashells - Antique French Blue Bead Flower and Lavedar silk floral stems hav been added - Beautiful Abalone Shell at bacAt back is a small print of Madonna and Child and under the print is a embossment of 760 impressed in the chalkware
Distressed Artistic Style !
As noted these statues are not perfect and are not meant to be .. My creative spirit offers you the best of my ability to revive these beautiful old figurines.
Measures approximately 9" Tall and about 9" wide across center
Bottom is signed by Katy Davison 2017 with a fabric patch 2nd Hand Revival Art Studio a Vintage Original by Katy Davison ( Gray Felt Bottom )
