2nd Hand Revival takes antique and vintage religious statues that have had prior age use & discolor or damage and turns each piece into a unique piece of art !
Our pieces are not perfect and we don't want them to be perfect. We are 2nd Hand Revival as we bring back to life these beautiful vintage statues.
We hand paint all details and add our personal touch of iconic embellishments.
Statue is vintage a heavy solid chalkware /plaster . He came to us with lots of gouges and missing pieces of chalkware . you can see at front where the votive sits an uneven pattern on the surface . Very little paint left on him and at back was nothing but the 2 metal clips you see holding in the plastic cover on the diorama ..
We hope you can offer him a new life as he really is a beautiful piece of art !


This Vintage Chalkware /Plaster Statue has original makers marks on the chalkware R. Meeham - Camden NJ

The Crown is tinsel gold around the head .

We painted a True Red and White to the robes .
Beautiful Antique Gold Rose Trim

Throne is a metallic gold .. we used several color golds for a mottled color . Altar is trimmed in various bead trips around the front .. Note the front end and the flat surface are a little primitive .. Red Glass Votive candle is removeable.
White Fabric Flowers , Small Chaplet and on right a small medal adds details to the flat surface . On each side of the throne - Metallic Vintage Praying Hands & other side : Saint Christopher protect us metal medallion .
A small goldtone metal crucifix attached to the dress below the knee
Rosary beads - Italy - Vintage - Back faceted beads ... can be removed or adjusted


Back : Diorama sits behind a cover which is plastic and held in with 2 gold metal tabs .. This is fragile but I did not want to glue in place in consideration that you might have your own little icon to add . I can glue in place as the 2 tabs are very fragile.
Inside: Black and White Print at background with Last Supper in center back . a Purple Fabric Flower has been stiffened in place with serveral small religious pieces: St Joseph , INRI and Our Lady of Fatima at center . Virgin Mary small figurine in silver with a small red beaded vintage chaplet is set in place .

White Faux Pearl Color Cross at back center .

Various Colors of Gold Base is a gloss finish .
Face has been softly painted and mottled style .. has a primitive look to the colors and style - Gold paint highlites the hair.
Approximately Measures 13.5" Tall to top of the top & 7" wide across base. & 9" front to back
