Original shadow box from the 1800's representing the Crucifixion of Christ.

The plaque at the bottom reads " Thy Kingdom Come, 100 days of indulgence each time - Pius IX 14th
June 1877".

Approximate Size of the Embossed Wood Frame: 21" tall, 17 wide

2nd Hand Revival Art Studios took this piece it apart and cleaned and also strengthen up the back of the box and they oil based polyurethane .. this process to keep the box strong and due to age preserve it for many years to come .
The back old paper and seams are coated and protected from future wear and tear with this coating .

GLASS FRONT - Dark Gold WOOD Embossed Frame - some nics and discolor on the frame

MAYBE SOME DUST PARTICLES UNDER THE GLASS DUE TO AGE

WIRE AT BACK TO HANG

PREOWNED ANTIQUE GOOD WITH NORMAL WEAR - some surface wear on the frame and age good condition for it's age at over 100 years old
